CONAWAY & ASSOCIATES, INC: Using Technology to Improve Your Customer ExperienceAt CONAWAY & ASSOCIATES, INC, we have a confession to make: We always have the latest geeky gadgets. We use the latest technology around to complete your appraisal without sacrificing quality or accuracy.
While appraisal fees haven't necessarily gone up over the years, the demands placed on individual appraisers have. We offer the highest quality appraisals, and cutting corners has never been an option for us. So, we've simply optimized our routine processes to do more in less time. Our continuous efforts to be the best have convinced us that using the very latest in new technology allows us to bring you more comprehensive reports in less time and of course, the very best in customer service.
Just look at how CONAWAY & ASSOCIATES, INC makes ordering easierIn the past, the majority of orders were delivered via fax and were confirmed with phone calls once we got back to the office. It might be hours before a client even knew if we could do the order. These days, when orders are entered on this website, we receive an e-mail on our phones. We often log into this site from the field and send back an e-mail confirmation – including the time and date for the inspection if we've been able to talk to the occupant.
When you order from CONAWAY & ASSOCIATES, INC you can expect us to be concerned about your deadlines. We use our resources to reduce waiting between communications since the speed at which we get things done directly effects your bottom-line. This website has proven to reduce cycle time for us and our clients by enhancing our communications.
CONAWAY & ASSOCIATES, INC is a pioneer in efficient data gatheringGathering the data for an appraisal is an intensive process. We spend a great deal of time gathering the facts on the subject property and the local market data and trends. Once again, technology has stepped in to help CONAWAY & ASSOCIATES, INC.
Instead of using paper forms and pencils and then re-keying all the information back at the office, don't be surprised to see us with a tablet PC or collecting data using an app developed for our phones that even lets us sketch a floorplan right on site. Rather than using that clumsy old tape measure, more and more appraisers are utilizing accurate laser measuring devices that also help measure hard to access areas.
Using this technology allows us to ensure that your report is reliable and complete, requiring fewer call-backs and revisions. A real money saver for busy appraisal clients.
Appraisal Report DeliveryDelivery of appraisals as PDF files through e-mail is definitely the standard these days. Generally our clients are most comfortable with receiving PDFs attached to their e-mail. It's a lot better than the old days when everything was on paper. But, we've even been able to innovate how you receive your report with this website.
Everyone knows how frustrating it is to lose a file. Or have you ever had an attachment blocked because of the file size? We have the technology to overcome those problems, too. Whenever we send an appraisal, the client is e-mailed a download link to retrieve the PDF. So, at that point, it doesn't matter if all the extra photos and maps in the report result in a large file that would normally be blocked by e-mail. And the best thing is that the file will be hosted on this site for 90 days. So if anything happens to the file, you can log back in here and retrieve it again - saving you time, since we won't even need to run back to the computer.
Digital Workfile TechnologyIt would probably be easier if appraisers could never have to think about an assignment again after writing and giving it to the client. But one of the purposes of an appraisal is as a legal document outlining the condition of a property on a specific date. Therefore, appraisers are required by law to keep their reports for 5 years in case any disputes or other matters arise regarding the property.
To sum it all up, CONAWAY & ASSOCIATES, INC uses all the technology available to us technology to improve service. We store every part of the appraisal - notes, sketches, supporting documentation and calculations - along with the appraisal electronically, we skip the paper hard copies and only need our computer to recall exactly what that assignment was about.
These are just a few examples of how we use technology daily. Using the right software, services, gadgets and gizmos allows the appraiser to collect the appraisal data to finish the report faster and more accurately than previously possible.
